Luxury Lake Oconee Welcomes Jerry Tillery to Its Sales Team

(GREENSBORO, GA) January 19, 2023 – Luxury Lake Oconee Real Estate Group is pleased to announce the addition of Jerry Tillery to its sales team as a licensed Realtor®.

Jerry is a Georgia native and grew up in metro-Atlanta. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree and later received his MBA from Georgia State University. 

Jerry found his love for the lake at an early age enjoying weekends at his grandparents’ home on Lake Sinclair. In 2017, Jerry and his husband, Neil, purchased a condo on Lake Oconee as a weekend getaway and quickly found ways to spend more and more time at their happy place.  In 2021, the pair moved to Reynolds Lake Oconee and now wholly embrace lake life full-time.  “This community and all the people here are like no other, and I am excited to help others discover why this place is so special,” said Tillery.

Jerry is an accomplished senior executive with over 20 years’ experience in sales, negotiations, business development, marketing, customer service and operations. Most recently, Jerry served as a Division Vice President of the Southeast & Caribbean Division for the American Red Cross, one of the world's largest and most respected non-profit organizations. Prior to joining the American Red Cross, Jerry served as Vice President of Operations at WellStar Health System and in multiple marketing and strategic planning roles at Emory Healthcare.

Jerry’s extensive knowledge of the lake community coupled with his professional experience make him uniquely qualified to understand this dynamic market, serve as a skilled negotiator, and most importantly, to support his clients’ needs throughout the buying and selling process.

He also has a passion for interior design, having designed a new construction home and completed numerous renovations previously, and just kicked off the design and build process for his new home in the Richland Pointe neighborhood of Reynolds Lake Oconee.  When he is not enjoying one of these activities, you will find Jerry and his husband out on their boat exploring beautiful Lake Oconee.
