Meet Nicole

As a child, Nicole Richard spent most weekends camping with her family along the shores of Lake Oconee. Her hometown of Covington, GA was only a short drive from the lake country so it was a convenient getaway for their love of boating, fishing, and hiking. Her family finally made a permanent move to Putnam County in 1999. A few years later, Nicole purchased her own home in the same area and is very proud to see how much growth there has been since her childhood. 

Nicole has had a love for the arts since she was first able to hold a pencil. This passion led her to earn a Degree from Perimeter College at Georgia State University in 2003, where she majored in Fine Arts and even studied abroad in Italy. Some of her artwork was chosen from thousands of participants and used in mass marketing campaigns for the college. After GSU, she laid down roots at Lake Oconee and decided to put her art career on hold. She went on to earn her Real Estate License from Barney Fletcher Real Estate School in 2004, while working as an assistant to several real estate executives at Reynolds Lake Oconee. She spent ten years as an assistant before accepting another position as Office Manager of The Plaza Arts Center, a non-profit, in Eatonton, GA. She was quickly promoted to Director of The Plaza and spent five years continuing the expansion and growth of the community’s pride and joy. Realizing the time to move on, she left the project behind in 2015 to jump back into the real estate industry. Nicole accepted a position at another non-profit organization as Association Executive for the Lake Country Board of Realtors®, where she managed the local MLS and a Realtor® Membership of over 300 individuals.

Nicole joined as the real estate firm’s Office Manager in August 2016. She handles a multitude of tasks: writing contracts, filing, client relations and showing property, just to name a few.

She married her high school sweetheart, Chris, in 2006 and they have two children, Christina and Noah. Christina graduated from Putnam County High School in 2022 and now attends Central Georgia Tech while Noah attends Putnam County High School where he’ll be a part of the Class of 2025. Chris is a professional truck driver who works for a family-run trucking company out of Atlanta. In her downtime, Nicole enjoys, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends on the lake, just as she did as a child.
